How long does it take for Human Resources to review an applicant’s references?

I applied? for a position in an h? pital local? phl be one? botom, a few weeks ago. I pass? by two interviews and the interviewer told me that I would know by the last week? re. Since I did not get a return call, I call? the person I interview? and she said it was up to Human Resources to make some v? Checks r? f? reference. How long does it take for them to call my r? F? Differences?

    It really depends on how accessible your references are. If they are leaving messages and your references aren’t returning the call, that’s a problem. Call your references and ask if they have received calls. Also let them know that the decision is being made based on references.

    It may also mean that the person you are talking to is “copping” out. They are not telling you that you didn’t get the job, for whatever reason. So if you find out that your references have been called, it’s then time to reach out to the person who makes a decision about hiring you and ask, politely, if there is anything else that they need from you, and if they know when a decision will be made.
